The Nigerian Government has approved an upward review of the fees for the Passport effective from 1st September, 2024.

The spokesman of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), DCI Kenneth Udo said the move is a part of the efforts to maintain the quality and integrity of the Nigerian Standard Passport.

He made this know in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The new fee for the 32-page Passport booklet, which has a validity of five years, previously priced at N35,000.00, will now be N50,000.00 only.

“The fee for the 64-page Passport booklet with a validity of 10 years has been raised from N70,000.00 N100,000.00. However, please note that the fees for those in the Diaspora will remain the same,” the statement reads.
