Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company plans to set up a service plant in Aba, Abia State’s commercial hub.
The company will supply special brand official vehicles to Abia State House of Assembly members, aligning with Governor Alex Otti’s initiative to promote indigenous products and bolster the Nigerian economy.
Abia State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa, revealed this during a press statement while leading a delegation to Chief Innocent Chukwuma, CEO of Innoson Vehicles.
During the discussion, Hon. Emeruwa expressed confidence that the vehicles would be ready for delivery in April.
Moreover, the speaker stated, “Yesterday, I led a delegation from the Abia State House of Assembly to Chief Innocent Chukwuma, the CEO of Innoson Vehicles, at his residence in Nnewi, Anambra State.
Our discussions centered on the production of special brand official vehicles for the 24 House of Assembly members of Abia State. We were assured that these 24 official vehicles would be delivered to us by April 2024. Additionally, the current Abia State Government continues to support locally made products to boost the Naira’s growth.”
In addition, “We commend Innoson Vehicles for its contributions, and the Abia State House of Assembly members will proudly use their products.

Due to the support and patronage from the Abia State government under Dr. Alex C. Otti, Innoson Vehicles has decided to establish a service plant in Abia State, as requested by Governor Alex Otti.
Additionally, Innoson Vehicles plans to use Aba as a center for converting vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
This visit was strategic as it underscores the Abia State House of Assembly’s commitment to supporting locally made products, crucial for the growth of the Naira and the Nigerian economy.”
