Tinubu Appoints Management Team For Nigerian Education Loan Fund

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu sanctioned the appointment of eight new Chief Executive Officers for Parastatals and Agencies operating under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation. These appointments take immediate effect.

The organizations impacted by these appointments are the National Orientation Agency, the Nigerian Television Authority, the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, National Broadcasting Commission, Voice of Nigeria, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, News Agency of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Press Council.

These decisions were made following confidential discussions held between the President and the Information Minister, Mohammed Idris, at the State House in Abuja, just 24 hours prior to the announcement.

Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement he issued on Thursday titled ‘President Tinubu appoints new leadership across the information and national orientation sectors.’

The newly appointed officials include Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu as Director-General of the NOA, Mr. Salihu Dembos, who retained his position as DG of NTA, and Dr. Muhammed Bulama as DG of FRCN, succeeding Dr. Mansir Liman.

Furthermore, Mr. Charles Ebuebu takes over as Director-General of the NBC, replacing Balarabe Illelah, and Mr. Jibrin Ndace assumes the role of DG of the VON, succeeding Osita Okechukwu.

Additionally, the President appointed Dr. Lekan Fadolapo as the Director-General of ARCON, Mr. Ali Ali as DG of NAN, and Mr. Dili Ezughah as the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Press Council.

President Tinubu urged the newly appointed leaders in these sectors to “innovate and create new opportunities for Nigerians by effectively reforming these vital government institutions, which work to unite Nigerians, reshape mindsets, and present the nation to the rest of the world.”
