After bouncing back from their first league defeat of the year with a victory against Wolves, Arsenal turned their attention to fellow London rivals, Chelsea, as they looked to keep up with Manchester City.

Trossard began the scoring spree for the Gunners with a finish through the legs of Petrovic, for his 10th and Arsenal’s 100th goal of the campaign.

Ben White made it two in the second half with a left footed strike in the box, after being a recipient of a deflection from Declan Rice’s initial shot.

Odegaard’s lovely through ball connected with Havertz, as the former Chelsea man sent his finish to the top corner to make it three for the hosts.

Havertz was not done yet, as he had another bottom corner finish which put the sword through the hearts of his former employers for Arsenal’s fourth, as it began to look embarrassing for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

A fluke some might argue, Ben White however got his brace with a cross/shot over the reach of ball watching Petrovic, from an initial chip from skipper, Odegaard to complete the rout, on a night Chelsea were totally outplayed.

It was the sixth time this season Arsenal had scored five or more goals, as their title pursuit continues.
