The President of the Senate, Dr Ahmad Lawan, has described the death of Mrs Jane Nnamani, wife of Dr Ken Nnamani, Senate ex-leader, as devastating and a great loss to the family.

Lawan commiserated with Nnamani in a condolence message by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Ola Awoniyi, on Monday in Abuja.

He prayed to God to comfort the former senate president and the family over the irreparable loss.

Lawan urged them to be consoled by her enduring legacy of good deeds.

He also commiserated with the government and people of Enugu State over the sad incident and prayed for the soul of the deceased to have eternal rest.

Mrs Jane Nnamani reportedly died over the weekend in her 60s, after undergoing a minor surgery in Enugu State, southeast Nigeria.
