Nigeria’s House of Representatives is set to commence debate on the general principle of the 2023 Appropriation Act.
The Deputy Speaker of the House, Idris Wase, said that the debate would begin on Wednesday during plenary.
According to him, the process would have started during Tuesday’s plenary but the documents were not ready for lawmakers.
Wase however mandated the Chairman Committee on Rules and Business to ensure that President Buhari’s speech on the budget should be made available to all members for smooth deliberation on Wednesday.
