Fire has gutted the popular Kubwa Village market in Bwari Area Council, Abuja, at about 7pm, killing unspecified number of persons.
The fire was as result of a Kerosene tank explosion which an eyewitness said “was triggered by a PHCN transformer at a popular woman boku junction around the market.”
According to the eyewitness, a number of traders, buyers, commuters and bystanders have been burnt beyond recognition.
Official figures are unknown as at the time of this report.
