The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has extended the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME and the Direct Entry, DE registrations by two week.
The Registrar of the Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede made the announcement in Abuja on Saturday, after the board’s management and stakeholders meeting.
Prof. Oloyede also disclosed that the 2021 UTME would now hold between 19th of June and 3rd of July, 2021.
He also said; ”the 2021 Mock will hold 3rd of June contrary to 28th of May, the initial date set for the conduct of 2021 UTME mock.”
”This registration was expected to end 15th of June, stakeholders have recommended and the management have approved a two week extension for registration ,it will now end in May 29th ,2021,” Jamb Registrar stated.
He further disclosed that contrary to the 2million projection for registration, only 1,134,424 candidates have registered so far.
